small potted plant in 75 mil pot
Bauhinia kockiana is a spectacular climbing bauhinia from Malaysia. Bright orange and yellow sprays of flowers are prolifically produced almost year round. It prefers a moist full sun postion in slightly acidic soil. Grows as a woody sprawling climber so definitely needs some sort of support. B.kockiana grows well in tropical or warm subtropical climate. You won't find them anywhere else online in Australia!!! You are purchasing a small potted plant.

23 October 2023Bauhinia kockiana observed covering an arch in Kandy Botanical Garden, Sri Lanka. I need to have one of those! The two 75mm pots specimens arrived well packed and healthy. They are now becoming established after several days rest. Plenty of helpful growing tips on website. I hope to grow them on a vertical steel trellis in Brisbane. An internet post said they can be "finikey" so extra care needed.
