Samoan Black "Snowball" Taro

I received my taro's and immediately planted two in the ground. The black and green striped petioles keep getting more impressive as they grow and now they are putting out quite a few pups around the base. The botanical name for this cultivar is Manini Uiuli and I think known as 'Arakua' in Samoa. Really looking forward to next Summer to see how much bigger they grow. Currently around 4 foot high after a short Summer.
