Green Mountain is reputed to be a Tim Chapman productus cross.It makes an excellent part shade landscaping plant and looks fabulous mass planted. We often use it as under story for Silvery and Purple leafed plants. The purple hue in the undersides of the leaves is great for picking up and contrasting with things like Black Tulip, Pendula Waxy, Calathea lutea and She Kong. The orange inflorescences last all summer long and jump out from the purplish leaves. Easy to grow highly recommended for everyone but particularly landscapers and landscape architects.
