Terms and Conditions from El Arish Tropical Exotics

Payment must be made within 5 working days. We can only hold stock for that long.
All our plants can be traced through Australia Post’s Eparcel service. Your flat rate postage charge is for unlimited plants per order via eparcel regular post. If you would like express post please contact us for a quote.

We make every effort to make sure your plants arrive safely and in a timely fashion. However, we cannot be held responsible if you have given us the wrong mailing or shipping address or are not available to pick up your plants or don’t have the time/ability to nurture them properly. We cannot be held responsible for natural disasters that may delay the arrival of your plants. If you have an issue with the plants or they were damaged during transport please contact us when they arrive. We will need to see photos of the damaged plants within 48 hours.

We generally ship the Monday or Tuesday following cleared payment. Payment must be cleared by 9 am on Friday for plants to be prepared to go on Monday/Tuesday. Occasionally due to holidays or extenuating circumstances plants will be held to the following week. Occasionally we can send on a different day to try and coordinate your package arriving on a specific day. However, we can never guarantee when your package arrives as we have no control over couriers/australia post.  Please remember we are on annual holiday s between DE C 20th and the first Mo nday after New Y ears EVERY YEAR. No plant s will be sent during this time.

We never store your credit card details . We use PayPal as our secure payment methods. Please check their website for their terms and conditions.

  At El Arish Tropical Exotics we pride ourselves on our high quality plants. We guarantee that our plants will leave here in prime condition. In the event you are not satisfied with your purchase, this refund policy explains when we will give a refund.

 YOU are entitled to return goods and ask for a refund, exchange if the goods you purchased:

  • Are not the same as the description provided on the website.
  • Do not do the job as you were led to believe
  • We do not refund the cost of postage/freight  or paypal fees as they are costs incurred .
  • We will need to see photos of the plants within 48 hours of arrival for you to recieve a refund

YOU are not entitled to a refund if you:

Simply change your mind or no longer want the goods or choose the wrong size/colour.
 
 
There is a 25% restocking fee for cancelled orders is stock has been set aside for the order.
Tropical Plants are a perishable item and will only thrive in certain conditions please satisfy that you will be able to provide those conditions and choose wisely. Information on the website, via phone, fax and email is supplied as a guide only. By placing an order, you accept the fact that significant variations may occur in plants, plant appearance and plant sizes due to location, climate, soil, cultural practices & other growth factors. No liability will be accepted by El Arish Tropical Exotic for information or plant material supplied. We reserve the right to refuse orders and refund moneys paid via paypal or direct deposit.
